Volunteers are the lifeblood of Bering Omega. From our Board of Trustees to those individuals who work every day in each of our programs, volunteers are critical to our effectiveness, efficiency and our spirit. These amazing and caring volunteers allow us to serve the greatest number of people in need possible with the highest quality of service while continuing to provide the personal support and compassion that have characterized Bering Omega since its founding.
Volunteers serve in virtually every capacity of our operations. They register and greet clients, prepare and serve meals, organize client educational and socialization activities, work in our gardens, perform maintenance for our facilities, work in our administrative offices, recruit and train other volunteers, raise needed funds and even work side by side with medical staff. Annually more than 600 people contribute over 23,000 volunteer hours. Come be apart of Bering Omega’s transformative and holistic programs by becoming a volunteer.
